Punk's not dead: Skate punk

Skate punk also called as skate rock started in mid 1980's California. Music style is a combination of hardcore punk and thrashcore. Popular skate punk bands are NOFX, Suicidal Tendencies and Blink 182 (not everyone agrees with Blink 182 though).

Punk's not dead: Anarcho-punk

Anarcho-punk promotes anarchism. It's punk music with anarchist lyrical content. They usually wear black clothes. My favorite anarcho-punk bands would be Chumbawamba and Reagan Youth.
