The Evil Stepsisters

Here goes nothing...

Vee has been such a supportive friend to me especially in photography. She had a photoshoot with Lervin that time but she wasn't able to make it because of conflict schedules from work and she was also shy because she would be doing it with people she doesn't know. When I told her that we should do a fun photoshoot so that she can practice, she was so hyped and game. After small talks and an hour of brainstorming, we finally got a date, July 29, 2011. At first, we were just planning to have a 1 on 1 photoshoot, just to release Vee's tension regarding photoshoots with people she doesn't know. That's another long story that is not really that important, so let's just skip that. So when everything was planned for tomorrow, Irish, overheard our conversation and since she was also my close friend at work, we invited her. Irish was hesitant at first because she was shy and never had experience with photoshoots. We told her not to worry about it since the 3 of us were amateurs. Finally, she said yes and everything was good to go for July 29, 2011. Or so we thought...

I just got out from work when they arrived at Jollibee, IT Park, our meeting place. I ate breakfast there since I know it's going to be a long, tiring day. At 10AM, we were on our way to Family Park, we were so excited and planned for the different poses that they should be making, only to find out that we were not allowed to go inside the park since the place was rented for the whole day because of an exclusive event. Bummer! Unfortunately, we didn't thought this would happen so there was no Plan B, it was just Plan A. Good thing I really think fast when it comes to locations, so I told that cab driver to take us to Fort San Pedro.

An hour later, we finally arrived, paid the entrance fee of P30.00 each and had fun under the heat of the sun. It's amazing that these girls produced good pictures even though they were not professional models. I'd like to think it's because of we make a good team. I didn't even tell them at first that they were suppose to be evil stepsisters and they need to carry a knife for this, but they've played along very well. So here it is, have fun...
